Hello friends..I've shared a few experiences of my engineering life earlier. As promised now i'll be sharing with you one of the most beautiful phases of my B.Tech career. When i was new to the college and B.Tech environment, specially in the first year, we had the most incredible time one could imagine on a bus. There was even a time when the sole criteria for going to college was to be able to spend time with my friends in the bus. The deal was that the entire bus journey starting from my friend's house to college and the return trip was exactly 92 kilometers. So we had to make something out of it else it would be really very hard to spend at least two hours a day having nothing more to do that just listen to music on phone. we had a semi luxury bus. I say semi because even though the interiors and condition of bus was in excellent condition still it was an old bus. The fact that the seats of the bus could be pushed back made it even better. That way, me and my friends could all sit close and have enormous fun chatting with each other, teasing each other. If we were going to college, that energized us or if we were returning, it removed the tiredness. That was also the time we all were supplied by laptops from our college (Of course we had to pay for it..). We were slowly getting to know thing like LAN and the usage. So we utilized them to the fullest. We would create peer to peer servers and play in the bus. There were two games that we played like anything at that time. The first being the very famous and successful Counter - Strike and the other being TracMania Nations. We were crazy for these games, and when you play on LAN the fun part goes up few notches. Another amazing thing was the man who took us and brought us back. Driver would be a very bad word to use as he turned out to an absolute gem. He became a friend to everyone in no time. he was some 7 years elder to us and was bachelor, hence we connected to him very quickly. If ever we got bored he would sure entertain us. Either by his lovely driving skills or by his mere dialect. That is what Munna Bhai, our "driver" meant to us. A charming firend to say the least. I can never forget that day when we wanted him to do something very demanding. We were in a 8 year old bus which meant the engine was old too, but we wanted him to overtake a brand new VOLVO that we saw on road. As always he just gave us a smile, but things did not reflect the same. We saw the VOLVO running away from our bus. Munna Bhai knew he could not take on the beast with power, so he used the ultimate power, his brains. He made it sure he was close to the bus and on the slightest of chance, with the help of his wit, he actually overtook the VOLVO. We literally jumped on the seats. We were just spellbound by his driving skills. It took few days to get out of the hangover.
These are couple of experiences and the fun that we had. I hope you all liked it. If you did you can simply add a comment and let me know. I'll be back with few more similar experiences. Thank you all for now....
